History

"A picture is worth a thousand words"
In the 1950s, the Valgardena Center was a pharmacy. Gradually, it evolved into one of the most renowned supermarkets in the valley. Valgardena Center has been managed with much love and effort by Lidia and Willi Pitscheider since 1969 and was taken over by son Bruno a few years ago. With us you can expect fresh and sustainable meat from the renowned butcheries Silbernagl from Kastelruth, South Tyrol, and "La nostra macelleria" from DESPAR.
Our meat is carefully selected and comes from local farms that focus on species-appropriate animal husbandry and natural feeding. Quality and freshness are our top priorities.
